Audisi ONE uses one central license based on a concurrent use
(‘floating license’) principle.
Each Audisi application represents a fixed number of ‘units’. Just select what mix of applications will be used at any given time up to the maximum license value.
The license may be limited to an end date and / or to a version number.
The license (number of units + possible end date + possible version number) is stored into an external USB dongle. Licences can be adapted easily by using an update application. There is no need to install a dongle on each machine or sending dongles by mail for each license change. Applications do not need to restart to obtain the new license.
Instead of a dongle, the license can depend on a MAC address of the machine where the ONE-Server is running.
