With CAB you can ‘virtualize’ equipment such as hybrids and codecs, so you can easily operate them in the studio. Each device has the same look and feel on the screen, so users no longer see physical devices with buttons or complicated menus. Web interfaces and proprietary control applications are obsolete.
The equipment is preferably centrally arranged in a CAR so that hybrids and codecs can be shared between different studios. This saves money and makes management efficient.
