The CAB-Controller application runs in the studio for easy operation of the equipment. All connection devices are clearly arranged in one static ‘device list’. It is immediately clear to the user on which device a connection is active. View incoming connections, set up or disconnect connections without any technical knowledge.
Basic operation:
A user claims a device and therefore the device immediately gets the corresponding return signal (usually N-1) from this studio. During a Claim the device is ‘occupied’ for other studios, in other words the device does not accept operation by others and does not get a return signal from another studio. A device is available again as soon as it is released.
